Meet Brandyn

Throughout his life, Brandyn has made health and fitness a top priority. At age 7, he began studying martial arts, continuing his Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training studies well into adulthood. Little did Brandyn know at this early age that the seeds had been sewn for what his future would hold.
In addition to the physical aspects, martial arts taught Brandyn the value of "respect" - in and outside of the class. And through his martial arts teacher - also a chiropractor - Brandyn fell in love with the human body and all its wonders, learning all about anatomy to better understand the mechanics of martial arts.
In 2006, Brandyn established his career in the personal training industry; focusing primarily on the aesthetics of the physical body and helping people to develop healthy habits and lose weight. Yet despite the successes he enjoyed with clients, Brandyn wondered if there was more to optimal health than "losing weight" and getting "fit." Around that time in 2009, he happened upon a book called "How to Eat, Move, and Be Healthy," by Holistic Health Practitioner Paul Chek, founder of the C.H.E.K. Institute in Vista California. Chek's treatise revolutionized the way Brandyn thought about health. He realized that fitness and health are not always synonymous; that you must get healthy to lose weight and not the other way around.
Brandyn immediately began a course of study at the C.H.E.K. Institute, learning a truly holistic approach to health, wherein the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects are all intimately connected and play a vital role in top-notch health. He has also trained with other highly regarded professionals in the holistic field such as John McMulliin and Ray Peat PhD.
Brandyn believes that education is key to living a happy and healthy life, and he has dedicated himself to helping others help themselves by providing them with the proper tools necessary to become free of pain and free to live life fully.
A simple truth: "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, but teach him "how" to fish and he can eat forever!" Brandyn is passionate about teaching clients "how" to fish so they may live long and happy dis-ease free lives!

Meet Cherie

Cherie's journey to living and teaching a holistic lifestyle started when she was very young. Cherie loved to cook with her mother, pick fresh herbs and vegetables out of her grandmother's garden and connect with nature as much as possible. When she was a young teenager she started exhibiting signs of blood sugar handling problems so her mother sent her in for a glucose test. During that test Cherie went into a brief Diabetic coma and was given little to no information about her symptoms and was sent home very sick and weak and told to stay away from sugar.
With no education on her body and why it was having these problems and no education on how she could gain balance and health, the information she was given was poor and incomplete which led Cherie down a road for many years constantly seeking advice from Doctors, Dieticians, and Nutrition experts but never getting the right knowledge about the many contributing factors in her lifestyle that were leading to her problems thus not really improving her health or getting rid of her symptoms at all.
Cherie actually ended up causing damage to her thyroid and increasing her hypoglycemia as she was never taught how to manage her blood sugar through nutrition and not knowing about the many things in her life that were causing stress to her body and adding to her poor health.
Determined to find the source of her imbalance and make the necessary life changes to get healthy, she started to study the body, how it works as a Whole and how the entire environment is related to the health of the body and each component be it spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical plays a very important role in the overall outcome and level of health experienced so it is very important to understand if one or any of these areas is out of balance, how it effects the body?.
These studies' led her to the Chek Institute where she took the Holistic Lifestyle Coaching course, as well as studying Paul Chek's Personal Professional and Spiritual Self Mastery program alongside her partner Brandyn. Cherie then started working one on one with several of the faculty members at the Institute dedicating herself to many hours of practical study, studying in depth the emotional component behind why we do what we do, many hours of researching varying philosophies of nutrition and how it has been used to heal the body for centuries, during this time of intense study Cherie started (doing the work) and putting all the pieces to her puzzle together, getting her life back in balance.
She started to see her life unfold in a way she could never imagine, her mental, emotional, and physical health were starting to work as a whole, producing the best Cherie anyone had ever experienced. Soon those around here were asking her to help them with the holistic approach to a healthy life. This is when she knew she had to share the vital information she had studied with anyone who was searching for improved health and balance in any area of their of their life, so she began coaching.
